Courtney and I have been working on building our own secret garden.
We decided to go the square foot gardening route.
Here is our box,
filled with our dirt mixture,
and ready for plants!
And here are our plants!
We still have some to plant,
but since we had our last snow this last week,
we are just getting things in.
We have tomatoes and cucumbers,
carrots,
lettuce,
and some herb towers.
You should smell the spicy basil on the top.
It smells DIVINE!
Can't wait for the harvest!

oh my goodness! You girls are the darlingest. I am all about fresh herbs- seriously 2.50 for a fist of basil- so not worth it. Well actually it is, and I have been known to make those purchases- but not without feeling guilty of course. I can't wait to see future pictures with the food you will make with all "fruits of your labor."
