Paul, Paul And Nothing But Paul ...

So I am going to tell you a secret ...

I kind of have a crush on Paul Giamatti.
Actually I love him.
He is my boyfriend.
Especially since I watched "John Adams".
He is brilliant,
and he was adorable in a wig and 3-pointed hat.

It really grosses my roomie Court out.
She does not enjoy him the way that I do.
In fact it makes her a little angry when I bring up my love for him.

This past week I have been moving into a new house.
When I arrived and began putting stuff away
I was surprised to find notes from Paul everywhere.

In the hall closet ...

in the downstairs closet...

in my bathroom cupboard ...

on the back of my bedroom door ...

inside my closet ...

in the washing machine...

and on the side of my bookshelf.

It was so nice of Court to post Pauls' love notes to me.

I guess it is pay back for putting Clay Aiken in her shower,
and the sheet music for "Walk Tall, You're A Daughter" on her pillow.

I LOVE YOU PAUL!

Morning Dilemma ...

I have one of these, and I love it.
I use it as my alarm clock,
because it is much more fun to wake up to music
rather than a blaring alarm sound.

The problem is ...
if I don't set it to a song before I fall asleep
it automatically defaults to the first song in my ipod alphabetically.
Unfortunately, this song is it.
And then I end up walking around all day with it stuck in my head,
which puts me in a bad mood,
and has me saying
"Nobody can do it like Aaron can"
all day long.

So the question is ...
which is worse.
Aaron's dance party or the blaring alarm sound?
It is still to be determined.

But if you see somewhere,
and I look tired and I am muttering
"Come  and get it!"
you'll know why.

P.S.
I know what you are really asking is why that song is on my ipod.
Just chalk it up to a cd made of all my siblings music during their tween years.

For My Mother ...

Happiness for today ...

Eating this ...

Sitting here ...
Reading this...

and listening to this.

I couldn't be happier.

A Little Nostalgia ...

When we were in LA we drove down Sepulveda.
It reminded me of all the times as a kid
when driving with my dad we would listen to
KNX1070 news radio.
There was ALWAYS an accident on Sepulveda,
and I always wondered where it was.
Now I know!

The Bonnie Hunt Show ...

This is Bonnie Hunt. She has a talk show,
and I love it!

My mom, my sister and I went to a taping this last week.

This is Emily REALLY excited to see the show.

They tape at Culver Studios in Culver City.

The studio was adorable.
They were cute white and red brick houses with green awnings and trim.
I loved it!

We got a tag and sat in line. They fed us with free hot dogs and root beer.
We watched people walk around the lot and tried to catch a peek of everyone from the show.

We ended up staying for a second taping.
We saw Brad Garrett, Andy Richter, the Neelys, and a Beverly Hills dermatologist.
Bonnie Hunt came out in the audience and shook my hand!!
We had a blast!

And we got a ton of free stuff!

The spoils from the first taping...
a cookbook, free orange juice, and a dvd.

From the second taping ...
baked beans, Andy Richters dvd, a Lubriderm gift basket.

I can't wait to go again!!!

I Want To Bring All Of Them Home To Live With Me ...

I love this song and I love hearing their sweet voices sing it.
And it cracks me up how much they all sway their heads.
ADORABLE!!!

Conquered My Shyness For A Small Moment ...

I saw her while at lunch yesterday.
I was instantly "blog star" struck and new I had to bust out of my shell and go say hello.
I started with the phrase
"Don't think I am a creepy stalker ..."

She was adorable and kind.
I just had to let her know how much I loved her blog.

It is funny how blogs make you feel like you
are someones BFF and you feel like you know them so well
and yet they don't have a freaking clue who you are.

Loved seeing her and realizing that she is as adorable in person as I thought she would be!

I'm Yours ...

My two girlfriends and I took off to Vegas for a little
Jason Mraz.

He was amazing as always!

The concert didn't start until midnight and went until 3 am (4 am our time!)
but he kept us energized and entertained.
He sounds better live than on his cd!
I love him!

We were surprised with appearances by James Morrison and Colbie Calliet!
So amazing!!!

I taped some video but have apparently not learned
that if I sing while I tape all that will be heard is me singing along.
Thank heavens other people took video and posted it on YouTube!

This is one of my fav songs and the note he hits at about 4:56 pretty much solidified in my mind the need for us to get married.

And Jason obviously heard I was coming and called my mom and asked her
for one of my fav songs from childhood so he could perform it for his encore.
(He's thoughtful like that.)
Nothing beats Lionel Richies' "All Night Long" !

We had a blast!

Dear Mr. OCD Who Sat By Me At The Movie Theater Tonight ...

If your OCD is so bad that you have to spray air sanitizer on yourself every 2 minutes, you probably shouldn't go out in public. And if you do, please DO NOT sit by me the next time you are at the theater. It was very hard to concentrate on the movie when I had to listen to that "spritz, spritz " sound every 120 seconds!

Thank you,
Easily Irritated and Annoyed While Having To Listen To You and Watch Russell Crowe With Really Bad Hair At The Same Time

Don't Try Looking For Me ...

because I am off to this place

to lay here for a few hours and catch up on some reading

and then be serenaded by him for a few hours.

Hope you have a happy weekend!

Lip-synching to Elton John ...

I saw this tonight, wept and loved it.

It made me love him even more.

I love him in this ....
so does my mother,
and if you ask real nicely she just might re-enact it for you!

I Heard This Song Yesterday ...

and every time I hear it I think of this scene ...

I miss Alex P. Keaton.

Did You Ever See ..

I just watched it, wept, and now love John Cusack even more.
