You Know You've Lived In Utah Too Long When ...

after days of gross weather,

the sun comes out and it is only 39 degrees,

but feels SO warm that you bust out your flip flops!

It makes me really sad that 39 degrees has become warm weather to me!

Internet Shopping Entertainment ...

Last night I went to a new website that I was recommended to

by Better Homes and Gardens.

I was led there because in the magazine they had an article about

reusable shopping totes.

And ...well...

My name is Melissa and I am a reusable tote - aholic.

I can't help it when I see these.

I have to have them!

I mean, SERIOUSLY!

Are they not adorable?

But, then I came across this ...

And then in the sidebar it said that people who bought this

The description says

"To rid your car of the Republican smell".

Do Republicans smell?

My favorite part is that it is vanilla scented.

Oh, the irony!

So, I decided to peruse the website a little further to see what treasures I could find.

And, OH did I find some!

The description says "Everybody loves a cat butt!"

I beg to differ.

I would rather shove a sharpened pencil in my eye,

then stare at a cat butt every time I open my fridge.

One More Reason Why I Should Live In California ...

Today, January 4th, it was

74 degrees

and I wore short sleeves and flip flops.

I may never leave.

I've Been Busy ...

playing with the new toy I got for Christmas.

I got a digital photo scanner!

And I love it!

I have been going through all of our old family photos,

scanning them and putting them on my computer.

It is so nice to know that I can save them before they fade even more,

and it is great that it makes them so easy to access.

It's been fun to walk down memory lane and remember the good ole days.
