I Have A Confession To Make ...

I broke down and listened to Clay Aikens Christmas album today.

I couldn't help it.
I know I am not supposed to listen to Christmas music yet,
but I heard one song when my ipod was on random
and was sucked in.

I PROMISE I will not listen again
until the day after Thanksgiving.

Please forgive me.

This is going to be a hard one to forgive. You know the rule!

Alright, a Route 44 of Dr. Pepper and you are forgiven... it can even be during happy hour - this time.

Thou art forgiven, saith I. However, when upon the first snow which falleth on the earth, thou mayest rejoice by listening to the praises of brother Aiken again. His song is glorious to all when winter brings upon a cold and windy countenance.

I'm only telling you this as a WARNING. I did this one year... listened to Christmas music BEFORE Halloween, and I (who love all things Christmas) was sick of it all by the time December 15th rolled around. I was OVER it. This foolish act I committed RUINED Christmas for me.

I just don't want you to suffer the same fate. Really. It was sad.

So, you are ONLY forgiven if you STOP THIS VERY INSTANT. Take out Clay and save him for November 26th.

The end.
Thank you.
