Me And Martha ...

Today was my day off.
I slept in and awoke with that wonderful feeling
that comes when you have a whole
day ahead of you with nothing pressing to do.

Then I started perusing the Internet, and
came across Martha Stewarts calendar
for March 2010.

The list of things she had scheduled for today were:
Order manure
Wax floors and clean area rugs
Clean window treatments
Restock cleaning supplies
Plan Seder menu

So I did what any Martha-lover does ...
I ate breakfast in bed while watching 2 episodes of Lost.
I laid in bed while catching up on blogs.
I showered and let my hair dry in Velcro rollers while watching Bonnie Hunt.
I laid in bed and finished reading "Anne's House of Dreams".

Now, before you go thinking that I am lazy
I did wash my sheets and remake my bed.
I went coupon shopping and got some great deals.
I tried a "natural/non-toxic" (kind of like a science project) trick to
de-clog my shower drain.
I cleaned my bathroom.
I tidied up my bedroom and vacuumed.

Somehow, though, I still feel guilty that I didn't plan my Seder menu.

Dear Jeff Probst,

How did I get tricked into having to watch this guy again?
Seriously.
I can't handle him and his stories and his tai chi.

Sincerely,
Please Bless His Torch Is Put Out Soon

Countdown to this weekend ...

when Liberty of London arrives at Target!!!

I love their prints so much!
I've been pondering a bedroom redo,
but have been waiting to see what they come out with.
And in the commercial,
I see a lot of things I could love!!!

Can't wait!

Ya Know ...

a screaming, profanity filled
domestic dispute in the meat department
is just what you need
to brighten up the
Saturday morning grocery shopping.

(especially when the husband/boyfriend is wearing a
shirt that says "I'm a catch!"
and has a SERIOUS
plumber's crack!)

Happy Saturday!

I'm Pretty Sure ...

that if you dig deep enough into this,
you will find that TLC is behind it somehow.

Stay tuned for the new TLC show,
"Little Carnies" !

Dear Bonnie Hunt,

I am going to be really sad when your show is over.
Who else is going to fill the void?
I am going to miss your mom, Don and your
fabulous sense of humor.

Love,
Really Sad About Your Cancellation

I Always Dig Cast Reunion Shows ...

and this morning on the Today show
the cast of "227" reunited.

I LOVED 227!
Remember when Marla Gibbs spent an episode locked in a
storage closet with Pee Wee Herman?
So good.

Sadly, one cast member was not there.

She will always be Olivia from "Sesame Street" to me.

Just in case you forgot ...
