I actually LOVE winter and detest summer. I love winter clothes, and socks, and the smell of snow, and eating soup, and playing in the snow. Sorry that you hate it so much!
I'd rather have cold weather than hot because you can always put more clothes on to warm up, but it doesn't work very well in reverse...people are a bit uptight about that!
